Facebook recommendations contain various tips to help improve your campaigns. For example, if you are experiencing delivery issues, the recommendations might be able to tell you exactly what is holding you back. Consider the recommendations for things to think about when launching and managing campaigns. All crucial information is still communicated by Smartly.io notifications.
Recommendations are shown in two different places in the campaign view.
- Recommendations badge is shown next to status for each ad (ad set) that has recommendations. Hover to show details.
- Summary of all recommendations for the campaign is shown at the top of the page.
To limit the size of the summary we initially show only the first few ads (ad sets) for each recommendation.
Ignoring recommendations
You will probably find that some recommendations are more useful than others. To keep the recommendations relevant you can ignore less useful recommendations by clicking the "Ignore" link next to the recommendation title. After this, you will no longer see this recommendation in any campaign in any account you have access to. You can see and modify currently ignored recommendations in user settings.

- Your Audience Is Very Specific
- Your Ad Set Targets Multiple Countries
- Ad Isn't Optimized for Conversions
- Your Bid Is Low
- Ad Set Ended
- Creative In Campaign Is Not Eligible For Instagram
- Creative In Campaign Not Updated for Instagram
For ads:
- Targeted Languages Don't Match Text
- Ad Isn't Optimized for Conversions
- Country Languages Don't Match Ad Creative
- Use Objectives Optimized for Mobile
- Ad image contains too much text
- Text Overlay Penalty Level Low
- Text Overlay Penalty Level Medium

- Relevance score of your ad is low
